NOVICE SCORING Please indicate the score and number of ends won on the scorecards. Team ranking is initially determined by wins/ties/losses. In the event of a tie, the next tie-breaker is ends won, followed by points scored. All games are 6 ends. Wins count as 2 points. Ties count as ties (1 point each). No extra ends are needed. Each team scores 1/2 end for each blanked end. If a team concedes before the bell, the winning team will score one point and one end for each end not played. i.e. If a team concedes after the 3th end, the winning team scores 3 additional points and 3 ends. If a team concedes after the bell, the winning team will record the score for the end played and score one point plus one end for the end not played. i.e. If the bell goes in the 4th end, finish the end and score one additional point and one end. No point/end won would be awarded for the 6th end.
