2014 SPRING ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - May 29, 2014

1.0 – Call to Order

The Annual General Meeting of the Chilliwack Curling Club was held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Chilliwack Curling Club. President Andre Anglehart called the meeting to order at 7:06 pm. There were 39 members present.

2.0 - Minutes:

Moved by Larry Simpson, seconded by Steve Strathdee that the Minutes of the 2013 Annual General Meeting be adopted as amended. Carried

3.0 – President’s Remark:

Andre extended thanks to the membership, Bruce Renwick, James Michayluk and the staff for their hard work this past year.

Also presented Larry Legault with the Curl BC Volunteer Recognition Certificate. Doreen Jones also received the award and will receive her certificate at a later date.

4.0 - Financial Report:

Keith Britz presented the financial report on behalf of Meyers, Norris & Penny. Copies were given out to members for review.

It was moved by Alicia Neid, seconded by Dale Hockley that the financial report be adopted as reviewed. Carried

5.0 - Manager’s Report:

Bruce Renwick presented his report (also contained in the distributed Committee Reports)

6.0 - COMMITTEE REPORTS:

Printed & Distributed.

7.0 - Elections:

A call for nominations was made. Four members allowed their names stand for election Bree Hankins, Bobby neid, Lenneke Bowles & Wendi Prinse. Nominees were Rob Garf and Steve Wahrer. Elections were held resulting in the following elected Board Members: Lenneke Bowles, Rob Garf, Bobby Neid and Wendi Prinse.

Directors returning: Andre Anglehart Adam Dyck Larry Legault Neil Long

Kim McLandress Gary Roberts Fred Snooks Dave Stephenson

It was moved by Sandi Jacobs and 2^nd by Steve Wahrer to destroy ballots. Carried

9.0 - Appointment of Accountants:

It was moved by Larry Simpson and seconded by Carey Prinse that the Club continue with MNP as accountants for the upcoming year, 2014-2015. Carried.

Andre adjourned the meeting at 8:28 pm.
