Bruce,
Andre & Dave attended. Dave
reported that the following Playdowns still need homes – Sr. Women’s &
Women’s Open. The Women’s Roaming
inaugural event will be hosted by Royal City and is looking for other homes
after that. Discussion
on long playing non-timed events – take too long. Bruce
is sending a letter about club borne costs for events. The board agreed not
to accept an event this year. We’ve
done enough recently |

07. Manager’s Report |
1. Dates for next season circulated to
leagues with some proposed changes to start times, days and leagues for
review and suggestions. Response date
for changes set for March 13. 2. Still chasing a few people for dues. Will continue to do so and will not allow
any delinquent people from this year to start next season until arrears are
paid plus next seasons dues. I have
hung lists for teams to sign in regards to returning next season on all the score
sheets. 3. 5 groups of School kids to come as well
as two groups of Japanese Exchange students coming March 21. 4. Newspaper ad scheduled for this Friday for
the open House. Still short a few
people for Sunday. If we are
qualified for Provincials or knocked out I will be back for Sunday. I have staff scheduled for both days. I have started a list of people to call in
the fall that have contacted the club about curling. 5. Pro shop stock reduction sale
starts tomorrow, but fortunately stock is in pretty good shape so very few
items will need to be reduced. |
