01. Agenda	Meeting commenced at 7:15. No Quorum until 7:40 p.m. Approval of Agenda Moved by Larry & 2^ndby Lenneke. Carried
02. Minutes	Approval of Minutes – July 24, 2012 Moved by Dave & 2^ndby Larry to accept as amended. Carried
03. Correspondence	None
04. Old Business	04.1 TV Screens. The router is different and may need a new one. Larry to purchase TV’s when that is sorted.	Tabled
	04.2 Committees for the Upcoming Year – wait for full compliment of directors to fill out committees	Tabled
	04.3 Rock Engraving and Sponsorship	Wendi to email & get info.
	04.4 ATM Machine – will cost about $3000.00 for installation and training. Some host companies charge a fee and others don’t.	Bruce to get some more information
	04.5 Board Member Resignation and Replacement Nominations presented – Rob Garf and Bree Hankins. Silent vote majority for Bree Hankins. Larry moved & 2^nd by Wendi to destroy the ballots. Carried
05. New Business	05.1 Drain the Keg Date – currently scheduled for March 29^th which is Good Friday. Larry will email membership to get their view on finishing a week early (15^th) and then Drain the Keg on March 22^nd.	Larry to send out mass email
	05.2 Chilliwack Fair Update – Wendi reported that it was well received and we should be able to use Rocks n’ Rings at other events to promote our sport.
06. Curl BC Report	Dave reported that there was an emergency meeting in July which he did not attend as his email notice arrived after the fact.
07. Manager’s Report	- everything going pretty good. - plant is up and running. - compressor one lost oil – being re-done - $3000 approximate cost - Hydro Pole – another issue with Phase 3 and burnt out motor in Compressor two. Bruce contacting Hydro for compensation. This put us a few days behind but working hard to catch up. - New rocks here. Old ones boxed and ready to ship back. - James went to Ice Tech course last week and now has Level 1. - Pro shop stuff should be arriving next week. - Mot leagues looking good – still need a few more teams - Bruce has asked various media to attend clinic - Ken Popove, City Councilor, curling this year - Glen Ringdal (Chwk Chiefs) wants to curl as well. Needs a team placement - Leisure ad coming out next week.
08. Committee Reports	07.1 Executive – no report
	07.2 Finance/Treasurer & Revenue Generation - checked into grant application – no news yet. - Will address stones grant in September - transferred savings to get a better rate - Sponsorship cheques coming in.
	07.3 Building/Facility Enhancement – no report
	07.4 Bonspiels & Leagues - 1 draw Friday night at the moment - Sept 14^th – ice Breaker Spiel and maybe a dance on 15th
	07.5 Membership Recruitment & Retention - Party in the Park a success - maybe do a Groupon coupon in fall after clinic
	07.6 Juniors & Clinics – Back to one day – Tuesdays – Starting oct 9th - Novice Clinic – Sept 11 – 13^th - Junior Clinic – Oct 1 & 2^nd
