Jul 3, 2018: Lots and lots of sand to cover the warm set of pipes.

Jul 3, 2018: They can't drive the dump trucks on the pipes, so they dump the sand outside and bring it in using a front loader.

Jul 3, 2018: They have to wet the sand, then compact it.

Jul 3, 2018: Larger supply and return pipes for the upper, coolant pipes. These will be laid in the header trench at the far end of the ice shed.

Jul 3, 2018: The coolant pipes will be heat welded to each header, spaced about one foot apart.

Jul 4, 2018: All the warm pipes have been temporarily welded together into one big loop so they can be pressure tested for leaks.

Jul 4, 2018: Testing the warm pipes for leaks with a pressure gauge. We do not want to see that pressure drop.
