Aug 1, 2017: Surveying the site.
Aug 21, 2017: The first excavator arrives.

Aug 28, 2017: The work begins!
7:30 am: The first section of top soil is scraped off.	8:30 am: More top soil coming off, creating an access road for the trucks.
11:30 am: The access road has been scraped. A second excavator and a bulldozer have arrived.
11:40 am: The first gravel truck arrives.
11:45 am: Dumping gravel on the access road.
5:00 pm: Looks like about 1/4 of the top soil is gone. A great day of work!

11:00 am: Going even faster today. Both excavators hard at work.	5:00 pm: Not much top soil left now.
Aug 30, 2017
10:00 am: All the top soil is gone.
3:00 pm: Digging holes for the footings.	5:00 pm: The hole for the footing at the northwest corner of the Ice Shed.
Aug 31, 2017
11:30 am: Digging a trench for the footings at the north end.	6:00 pm: Almost finished digging at the north end.
