Goal: TO ENHANCE AND IMPROVE VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT

Objectives:

In order of priority:

  1. Determine Volunteer Team Leader (Done: Wendi Prinse has agreed to assist)
  2. Develop Volunteer Committee (Leader and 4 assistants)
  3. Recognition Manager The above managers could then create specific volunteer teams for special areas – e.g. Bonspiels, Skill Development, along with clearly defined responsibilities for each team, including publicity, decorating, entertainment etc. These roles to be documented and publicized to members.
  4. Determine responsibilities of each position
  5. Determine and advise of Lines of Communication
  6. Develop database of current volunteer involvement
  7. Develop job descriptions for all volunteer opportunities
  8. Determine volunteer needs by CCC and publicize to membership
  9. Recruit volunteers by matching members skills/interests/preferences with needs
  10. Develop a system to track volunteer time/contributions and provide timely and appropriate recognition
  11. Develop a toolset comprising procedure manuals and technical data and a storage and retrieval system
